The Best Ways to Get Around Las Vegas

If you’re visiting Las Vegas, you’ve got plenty of decisions to make, like where to eat, where to stay, and what to do.  There are so many exciting options, that you really don’t want to spend any more time than you have to when working out the formalities, like how you’re getting from place to place.  That is why we have come up with the ultimate guide on the best ways to get around Las Vegas!

Rideshare

There’s no secret, throughout recent years, apps like Uber and Lyft have revolutionized the transportation industry!  Much like the other large US cities, Las Vegas has plenty of rideshare options to help you get around town.  The best part is, they’re everywhere, from the strip to downtown, you’re guaranteed to find a rideshare any time of day!

Taxis

If rideshares aren’t for you, and you prefer the tried and true taxi, then there are plenty in Vegas!  Much like other metropolitan cities in the US, there are still plenty of taxis to be found in Sin City.  However, they may be a bit more expensive than other alternatives on this list.

The Deuce

The Deuce is the city’s public transportation.  It’s a bus system that runs two routes through the city.  One is a dedicated strip route, that stops at just about every property on the strip.  The other is known as the “Downtown Express”.  This line stops at about half of the strip stops and also runs downtown.  If you’re in Sin City for the weekend, The Deuce is usually the most budget friendly way to get around the strip!

Rental Cars

There are plenty of things to do in the Las Vegas area that are easier to get to with a car, like the Grand Canyon!  If you’re renting a car in Vegas, then there are a couple ways you can go about doing so.  One is through the traditional car rental agencies that we’ve all seen at the airport.  Another way is by using a car rental app, such as Turo.  On these apps you can rent almost any car, from a Honda Civic to a Lamborgini Gallardo.  Renting a luxury car or supercar will definitely turn some heads all the way to your destination!

Scooters

Scooters are quite possibly one of the best ways to get around while on vacation.  They give you the speed of a bicycle, without really having to exert any energy.  This is key when you’re on a few day long excursion.  You don’t want your legs to be tired on day two!  Luckily for you, scooters are plentiful in Las Vegas, and very affordable too!
